independence
yea, we have an independent country so lets all go out, drink way too much and shoot projectile fire into the air. whoopie!!!
last wednesday i came down with something and it has persisted since. we think that calvin may have given us parvovirus - and i presented with more of the adult onset symptoms than i would have hoped for. my training has taken a hit although i managed an hour and a half ride on saturday and a 45 minute run last night. yikes.
besides feeling achy and feverish, it was a very nice weekend with my family. calvin was a very patient little boy while we traipsed around the mississippi river, eau claire county and an eau claire express baseball game. even though it was a great trip, it felt really good to be home and everyone slept well in our beds.
back to the grind but only for three days. then, it is time for robin to make her triathalon debut!
