positron

to quote the lemonheads "it hasn't been so bad yet, i'd do it again." that is how i would classify every workout of this training cycle so far. i don't feel fit yet, but there are glimmers in the darkness. 2 workouts standout - i felt like i could really push on the hills at sunfish lake park last tuesday and i felt strong on my cut back long run this past weekend. my pace data doesn't reflect the sensations felt, but these were mental wins as i felt my fitness improve. the next 3 weeks are the crux of my 9 week crash course - with my long runs starting to surpass the 20 mile barrier and some of the weekday runs gaining in volume.

and, i might even be getting used to the early morning efforts - that is a victory in itself. this is the most consistent i've been in the early a.m. since my edgewood masters swimming days.
